Our History

From the Holiday Inn in Plantation, Florida, New Hope Seventh-day Adventist Church began its mission to evangelize the areas of Plantation and Sunrise, in South Florida, on September 2, 1995.
On December 16, 1995, New Hope became the 105th church to be officially organized under the aegis of the Southeastern Conference of Seventh-day Adventists.
The space rapidly became too small. In February 1996, through fervent prayer and what could only be divine intervention, the members were successful in negotiating the attainment of a Methodist Church and its parsonage.
We were blessed when our below market price offer was accepted over two other offering price matches. August 24, 1996, New Hope officially opened its doors for worship at 545 East Campus Circle, Fort Lauderdale, Florida, 33312 and has continued to be a beacon of light to this day.

Our Vision

To be a place of hope, full of people, who are falling deeply, madly, and passionately in love with God.

Our Mission

Our Mission at New Hope Seventh-day Adventist Church is to share the everlasting Gospel of God's love in the context of the Three Angels' Messages from Revelation 14: 6 - 12. And as revealed in the life, death, resurrection and high priestly ministry of Jesus Christ, leading people to accept Jesus as their Savior and Lord. Uniting them with His remnant church and nurturing believers as disciples in preparation for His second coming.
